Los Angeles, June 16, 2021 — The Liberty Company Insurance Brokers announced today that Valerie Taylor has joined the team as Vice President, Producer in the San Francisco Bay area office.
Valerie joins us with 16 years of experience in the insurance industry, with niches in cannabis, real estate, and community associations. Most recently Valerie joins our team from McDermott Costa Insurance Brokers where she worked as a Producer and Commercial Account Manager, CISR. In addition to her work at McDermott Costa, Valerie also held positions at AmWINS Group, Inc., Commercial Coverage Ins. Agency, and Colemont Insurance Brokers (now AmWINS). In addition to her professional work, she also serves on CREW East Bay Vice-Chair programs committee, as a National Cannabis Bar Association member, and was a nominee for Elevate 2021 Industry Impact award. Valerie received her Bachelor of Arts in history from Evergreen State College, and her CISR from the National Alliance of Insurance Education and Research in 2015.
